    As Mr. Spock would say...."Fascinating!"  Neat stuff, especially the time domain graphs.  We can get that on our flexes now!  It would be great to have a wiki site with a collection of FLEX-6000 screen captures of different types of interference.  It would make things much simpler for us as we try to trace interference sources.

    Ii could contribute a few from my own station, especially the garbage generated by the over-the-counter halogen lights in my kitchen!  What a mess they generate!

    I also had a problem with the halogen kitchen counter lights but mine turned out to be switching wall-wart.  Wish I had rig that could put out a signal that strong!

    Found an equivalent linear and the silence was golden!

    Thank you for introducing the Community to the Naval Postgraduate School publication NPS-EC-07-002 titled THE MITIGATION OF RADIO NOISE FROM EXTERNAL SOURCES at Radio Receiving Sites, dated May 2007.  As the name suggests this document addresses “EXTERNAL SOURCES.”

    There is a related Naval Postgraduate School publication which is likely of interest to the Community.

    Naval Postgraduate School Publication NPS-EC-10-001 THE MITIGATION OF RADIO NOISE AND INTERFERENCE FORM ON-SITE SOURCES at Radio Receiving Sites, dated November 2009, focuses largely upon grounding, cables, antennas, and power conversion related issues.  A pdf copy of this document can be found on the ARRL website at http://www.arrl.org/files/file/Technology/RFI%20Main%20Page/Naval_RFI_Handbook.pdf.  The ARRL also refers to the book as the Naval RFI Handbook but they are the same document.
