Anti-Vox

Anti-Vox is needed in SSDR. The lack of it makes using Vox with speakers a real problem.
It would be a very welcome addition to this wonderful radio!

I am not a VOX user but I believe you can adjust the DEXP to solve the problem

The fox sensitivity is adjustable . Also, speaker placement can help with unwanted VOX tripping.0

Anti-VOX will be a difficult implementation because there are multiple sound sources and stereo speakers to account for. Sampling all those different levels and then blanking them from the mike will be a tough programming project. Ken - NM9P0

I should not type after too much coffee. I mean, the VOX is adjustable as far as sensitivity, which pretty much accomplishes the same thing as an anti-VOX, right?
My speakers are within a two feet of the mic and I don't have a problem. What I do have a problem with is when the dogs go on red alert because the UPS guy is dropping off a package. A friend in Hawaii calls it the bark heard around the world.

It is a sensitivity thing, when adjusted ok it should work well. It always works very well on my Flex 3000, once I get it setup right.0

This is the echo-cancellation problem. The solution is usually some flavor of adaptive filter in echo-cancelling mode. It's been done to death. Implementations are available.
I agree with the OP. Sensitivity-adjustment is the brute force solution and may only be adequate for use with headsets.
