Hello, on my 6500 I have the "clicking relay".when the 6500 is powered up. It does not matter whether I have my client running or not.
It starts clicking about 2-3 minutes after my 6500 has started up. It clicks independent of the firmware level installed. I have tried going back to the first SSDR release. It makes no difference.
Also, it does not influence the radio's functioning. It is just an annoying clicking of some relay inside 6500. I hav e seen posts about this topic before, but did not get what may cause it, and how to solve the problem. Some directioning to "Zendesk"was made by Tim (W4TME), but I dont know what it refers to...
Any help on this is highly appreciated.

Roy,
I had the same issue with my 6500 approx 2 months ago. I had to send it back, so the Help Desk Ticket is the best way to handle it. Flex will give you direction and they will have it back in your arms very quickly

@Richard and John, thanks for the info. I'll go for the helpdesk ticket then. I was hoping to have it resolved remotely though...

I have converted this topic to a support HelpDesk ticket (http://helpdesk.flexradio.com) for expedited issue resolution. If anyone else is experiencing an issue similar to this one, please submit a HelpDesk support ticket for issue resolution.0
