It would then even be possible to assign on off the RCA connectors to this bands.

Even with DDutil it is not possible at this moment.

What radio?  The FLEX-6000 has this capability via the transverter connector.

Sorry Tim, i forget to tell that I have a 6700.

It is important in combination with persistence and for DDutil.

It is also important in combination with band assignable TX1, TX2, TX3 and TX4 connectors.

OK.  I fully understand the question now.  What you are asking for is specific band buttons for the 136 / 477k bands.  That feature is currently not on the list for a future enhancement.  I am going to change this to an "idea" post so others can comment on it.

    Thanks Tim.

We , pa0wmr and I , are working with band specific antennas and homebrew PA's for this bands. With the FLEX-5000 it was easier to work , because of the band assignable TX connectors and one more antenna connector for the other HF bands.

It makes sense to me, eventually, to have band buttons for these two bands so that frequency, mode, filter, DAX, ANT, preamp, and AGC persistence would allow easier call-up for DIGI modes, etc on these underused amateur allocations.  Someday I hope to try them myself, but at least would like an easy way to listen without messing up other GEN frequencies.

A little late response , but we are very happy with the 137 and 474 band buttons.

I have made a 16 relais interface through DDutil and a LPT port for controlling external band specific equipment.  Works perfect.
