1.0.24 Unable to run on Win7 computer

Still cannot run on my main Win7 computer. I have uninstalled everything and I still get these errors. On my Win 8 computer I can finally get it running. CW offset is not centered until I change modes and then back to CW, then it is right.

I found the problem. The issue must be with some files in the DAX subfolders that is created during the installation. When I uninstalled those files would not uninstall and I am not able to delete them manually...they just seem stuck there. I am on the computer as administrator. When I reinstalled I used the same folder so those bad files were still creating problems. I tried reinstalling to a newly created folder and now it is back up and running. 73 Greg

If your DAX CP was running when you tried to uninstall, you will receive a message that some items could not be uninstalled and had to be removed manually.

Thanks Tim. What is CP? When I tried to uninstall I did not have anything running (SSDR or digital mode software). Tnx Greg

I had the radio running fine on the Win8 computer. I shut down SSDR and the comoputer for awhile but the radio was still on. I went to start SSDR again. The radio was available but when I went to connect....the window opened with the brown background and then I got a lost connection warning and the SSDR window closed but the connect window was still open with the radio available. I try again to restart and the same thing happens over and over again. There has to be something screwing with the connection with this version. I know folks have reported not having any problems and use this or that switch. But this was running fine (no dropped connections) for the most part until this update. Not complaining...I know its beta. But pointing to the switch does not make sense. 73 Greg
