Tha charm of the needle.......

edited March 2017 in SmartSDR for Windows
Hi, playing with my toys and CAT software to add a second tuning knob and a needle reading. On "SLICE A" TmatePLUS tunes and reads the S-meter, PTT pressing a button. At today PWR/SWR/ALC values are not available from SSDR CAT, also others functions under "F" buttons are not implemented, "SLICE B" with FlexControl.knob. TmatePLUS works directly connected to SSDR CAT port or as DDUTIL/RCP. 73 Beppe

As much as a dislike analog meters... that is still much more readable than the invisible bars on SSDR I see the download link is: http://www.woodboxradio.com/tmateplus.html

Hi, standard TmatePLUS works with traditional PowerSDR, by limited time of 15 days, after it requires a license (generated on radio serial number). It can works with SSDR in demo mode for limited time, after it requires a Tmate knob to work. At today SSDR CAT does not reply with PWR - SWR - ALC values, so TmatePLUS is not full working as with PowerSDR. I'm working on a freeware S-meter for SSDR, it will be available this week. 73 Beppe ik3vig

Hi, waiting the analog S-meter designed for SmartSDR, you can play with my freeware well knowed BobSmeter-Flex, download available here: http://www.woodboxradio.com/freeware.html Simply set the CAT port to SmartCAT assigned port and press start, now you have the classic S-meter for "Slice A". 73 Beppe ik3vig
