Be progressive

I always considered FlexRadio System to be a progressive leader and the innovator of SDR. And I sincerely hope that it will continue into the future. It now appears that in order to appease the few, the Company is considering using technology that is more than 20 years old? For example, TTL, CI-V, and other antiquated control systems: This is a step backwards. I compare that to the telephone companies continuing to lay wire when there is fiber. I am not saying to ignore the request but why develop or build devices that are readily available in the market. Use your resources developing new ideas or you will be left behind.

Ernest, I read your comment about Flex Radio. I think Flex has the best radio on the planet, but it cannot loose the commitment to it's customers. Peripherals that connect to a radio are not going to change to appease the technologies that the Flex radio has. Consequently, provisions have to be made by Flex to keep customers happy with their purchase and make their existing accessories workable.
