I don't know if this is key click or what. I just installed the new update and setting up for tomorrow's fox hunt. When I key down on the "make" (initial keydown) there is a momentary spike on both sides of the primary signal about +/- 4 kHz. It shows at about -80 dB then goes away and does not come back until another "make". Does not do it on the break. I don't have another radio setup yet to see if those are actually going out over the air as RF. 73 Greg

When transmitting on CW, I see a peak at about -17db and two sidebands at about -55db. I have made a lot of CW contacts on both the 0.15.13 version and the previous version and have had no reports of key clicks. In fact, I have had complements on my clean signal. There are many sidebands showing on the panadapter during transmit. I find no specifications on "self measurement" of the transmitted signal and doubt whether the panadapter display is meaningful during transmission of CW signals. To get an accurate picture of the transmitted signal, you will need another 6000 series radio located some distance from you. That station can give you a meaningful critique of your signal. Don't worry about it! Get opinions from stations that you work.0

i saw those in 13.10 on the pan when transmitting, especially on the first 'dit' when using semi-break-in.... i looked for them carefully with a second receiver but could not hear a peep, so concluded it's just something inside the rig.. JM2C, 73, w5xz, dan0

Great and thanks. Still putting the new shack together and just got the rig hooked up yesterday so I have not had a chance to check to see if these anamalies were actually being transmitted or not. I suspected they were not. Thanks for the verification from you both. 73 Greg0
