Will the Steppir and rotor interfaces be part of a planned release or was that demo candy?

I know it was part of the Visalia capabilities demo but wonder if you are planning for a commercial release of the functionality?

Yes and Yes. The original thinking is that we could sniff out the kind of device on a port and make it do the right thing automatically. Having done the work with the SteppIR controller and the A9500, we are thinking that it would be better to have a panel to create assignments to devices to ensure that we always do the right thing (some devices are passive listeners to CAT so in this case we would always have to assign). So we need to finish this work before releasing the code into the wild. Steve
