Now that SmartSDR CAT supports a serial port PTT, has anyone configured N1MM Logger with a Flex-6000 radio to generate CW for contesting?

Probably won't work yet. As I understand it, they have implemented PTT via serial port, but not CW keying via serial port. I hope I am wrong, but.... 73, de K9DUR

If CW in N1MM not yet available, this is a a significant disappointment for me

I use WinkeyUSB Lite to drive CW in the 6500... WIth the Flex 5K, keying from N1MM to PowerSDR would sometimes have hickups when keyed via Virtural serial ports and the WKUSB Lite solved that problem.. The 6500 with SmartSDR is definately NOT F5K with PSDR, but the key path via a Virtual serial port has not changed. Now if Flex could emulate the WinKey interface to N1MM, that would be a neat solution. Al, K0VM

Thanks, Al! I have been thinking about this approach and also agree that a Flex-based solution would be the cat's meow (hint, hint, FRS) Mike, N1MD

I've been using WKUSB for a good while with great results. Takes the load off of everybody.
