How do I set up the 6700 and a CAT virtual port to use a PTT command from MTTY software? I am totaly new to SmartSDR CAT. Finally got my Logic 8 logging program to read data from the 6700 but not doing good with the MMTTY PTT.

I do not believe that SmartSDR supports PTT via handshaking lines yet. I know that CW keying via COM port is not yet implemented. I am not familiar with the Logic8/MMTTY combination, but if your software can issue a TX command via CAT, then you should be able to assert PTT that way. 73, Ray, K9DUR

Ray, I think you are right. The CAT software version installed with Version 0.12.17 does not match the SmartSDR users guide. I guess I'll wait for the next up grade release. Thanks for the responce. 73 AL N4AB

Al, This capability will be included in SmartSDR CAT v1.1.3 which will be in the next release of SmartSDR for Windows Preview.
