Tuning TGXL with Maestro C

Hello,
I am using a Flex 8600 with SmartSDR + PGXL + TGXL.

I have seen that since version 3.9.19 of SmartSDR, there is now a TUNE button on the
“TUN” panel to tune the TGXL.

I am considering purchasing a FlexRadio Maestro C Console.
Does this feature exist on the Maestro console?

    Hi F4HIN,

Yup, actually starting with v3.9.18 the Maestro (all models) received a control button at the top center and are able to tune it with their "ATU" button. As we all know, the ATU unit in the radio needs to be disabled when using an external tuner. Without the TGXL connected, the "ATU" button on the Maestro activates the tuner in the radio. But when the TGXL is connected (by "connected" I mean via Ethernet cable to a LAN with the radio, Maestro and PGXL and AG if you have them) the "ATU" button activates the TGXL, not the radio's ATU as desired.

Just a note: you need to use v1.2.17 TGXL f/w on 4O3A's site (https://4o3a.com/tuner-genius) along with SSDR v3.9.18 or higher for the TGXL integration feature to work. Also, there's been some instability reported, especially using MultiFlex mode, in this configuration. Flex is focused on resolving that now. If you have that problem, just regress the TGXL back to v1.2.11 until Flex gets it fixed.
