Using EZ Pix with Flex

Member ✭✭
edited March 7 in Third-Party Software

While I have had success configuring other digital programs Ez Pix transmit has me baffled. I have it working on receive with no issues.

Once I hit transmit nothing rig does not key up. I have setup a comport via SmartSDR CAT v 3.8.20. Any thoughts? Can someone please share their configuration screens? Thank you

    1) Do you have EZPix configured to use DAX AUDIO TX as the Transmit Audio input?

    2) DO you have the DAX TX Stream enabled in the DAX Control Panel?

    3) Do you have the DAX TX Button enabled in the "Radio Controls > P/CW" tab in SmartSDR?

Ken, thank you for the reply. Yes to all 3 questions. When i click on the SmartCAT program and select the comport and log I see no data streaming at all. I have it configured for Comm 6 and Slice A. I verified that Comm 6 is selected in the TX comm port on the program. I have the comport configured as: Port protocol CAT

    Port type Serial

    Serial Port FLEX VSP

    Client Comm 6

    VFO A Slice A

    Enabled is blue

    split mode SO@R (normal)

I hope this clarifies my setup.

You may need to configure in CAT a COM port as a PTT port and link EZPix to that port.

I am not experienced with EZPix, so I am only guessing that your COM port is not configured properly.
