I have tested this once manually. It is not a pulse, but a permanently closed contact.

Hi Daniel, the REM ON jack on the back of your 6400 allows this. At my station, I use a 4 channel wi-fi switch similar to this one:

I use channel 1 connected to the REM ON jack on my 6400, and the other three channels to switch antennas. With this set up, I can turn the radio on and off at my operating position by using the buttons on the switch or remotely using the included app on my cell phone.
