Yamaha CM500 Headset w/mic
Is anyone using the CM500 headset with their Flex 6xxx? If so, what adapter did you use?

Hi Steve, I just built one into the housing of an inline TRS jack. A small box would be a bit easier to wire, but would be another thing on the operating desk. Here is a link to the discussion and schematic.

For the capacitor, I just used a .1 uf ceramic that I had laying around. Works great.

Dale,
Thanks for the info. I will take a look at that and see if I can get it to work with my 6300. I was hoping to find something like Heil makes for the Icom IC-7300 and other radios. I know the flex mic jack is patterned after the Kenwood but I don't see anything like that either. Guess I will have to do homebrew like we did in the old days. 🤣
