Transverter Repeater Function - Observations - SmartSDR v3.2.39

First.. although the category is Windows, IOS has the same findings...

Observation 1 - When setting up a repeater off-set and testing for access, there is no indication of the offset xmit frequency at key down. While the offset setting does work, this is not intuitive. (I do use memories for these repeaters, and they work well). Further, the expected indication of modulation on the panadapter, upon xmit, shows no carrier which by rights it should not, since the xmission is indeed offset.... Still not very intuitive.

Observation 2 - To compound the issue with number 1 (above), if I manually move, (drag to a new simple frequency) there is nothing to alert me that a repeater offset is still enabled !!! All is see on xmit is a lack of apparent audio for some reason... which, since I am remote to this flex/transverter, had me yanking hair for a while to find out why I had lost audio out. I have learned to program some simplex channels and always go to them after leaving repeater mode, rather then needing to OPT to turn off repeat/tone offset.

Maybe this will be of some help to those setting up flex/transverter combos
