I had a lighting strike here and had to rebuild my computer. Flexradio 6500 and DDUtil. My problem is that I can't get the radio connectedto DDUtil. I have used DDUtil for years with no problems. Any ideas?

Good time to ask.  Many people speak about DDutil which I'm sure is a SW package.   What does it do? Why is it needed and how does one get this?
I have a 6500 for about a year now and it works great with my old industrial PC, AL572 amp and sometimes FLDIGI.     73, Jim

Morrie: make sure you select "Signature"  in the Setup > Features screen.

    use the download link http://k5fr.com/binary/DDUtil32400_Setup.zip

The program extensively expands various interfaces between the radio and other equipment, plus adds macros to customize the behavior of the radio.  The list of features is too long to list.

Lee, thank you for the wealth of information.   Looks like an amazing program and very powerful.   It will take me a while to appreciate all it can do. Since I have never used it before I can start fresh at V3 but first lots of reading.
I apreciate you're taking time to fill me in. Again, my sincere thanks.   73, Jim    KD1I
