Some of the inexpensive DJ MIDI tools, like the DJ2GO2, make excellent add-ones to SSDR Mac. And do look at the CTR2-Midi.1 -

In short, No. The iPad version can be used on any iPad you own and is under the same AppleID. The Mac version is entirely separate and must be purchased for use on your Mac.1 -
