I can do FT8, but I have no interest in playing with loopback just due to the amount of time it will take up and I am not a MAC expert.2 -

Dean Yes, you can boot your M model and never touch the front panel and still use it from a PC. Give it a try. You only need to touch the front panel if you want to use some of the features it has. 731
