Here is another idea and the video explains some of the power to having a remote PC. Give it a watch first and then see if it makes sense that this is easier in the long run. 731 -

It would help if you had one. You could find a NanoVNA on eBay (or even Amazon) for about $50 that should help tell the story. They are actually pretty good.1 -

Just some thoughts. Often, this can be related to RFI or an intermittent antenna connection at some point between the end of the coax and the actual antenna. If it was me, I would hook up an antenna …1 -
