  That's really handy for contesting or DX pileups where you're using the mic. You could have announced that as a new feature in 1.4 and I wouldn't have even noticed. :)

  This would be a great venue for keyboard-input "packet" CW. That wouldn't help the straight key folks, but I can't visualize a J-38 plugged into an iPad either.
