Keep VFO A at 10148 and then move VFO B to 10151. Make sure VFO A is the TX VFO. It should work that way. At 10151 you are out of band and the TURF kicks in.1 -

The 2 XVTR ports on the 6600 is the most tempting change... I would love that on the 6700. Then again, 6600 doesn't have a 144 IF to feed the microwave transverters..... so...who knows.1 -

You can MUTE sound in several places. For example, you can mute in the same Slice or you can mute for ALL slices on the top right as David pointed out. The radio requires POWERED speakers, like PC sp…1 -

I would check to make sure you are selecting the right TX antenna, either ANT1 or ANT2. You might have XVTR selected as your TX antenna and the TUNER will default to Bypass.1
