An alternative that has worked for me (so far) is Revo UninstallerPro which seems to completely uninstall and finds all the little remnants everywhere, which I also delete.1 -

What happens if you turn off the Maestro internal speaker and listen instead to a powered speaker connected to the 6600? And headphones connected to the 6600?1 -

I've never seen this on either my 6500 or my 6600. I typically run 30-35 WPM QSK in contests and have never had a problem, but maybe that's just me.1
