  Sherwood measured 0.20 and 0.25, depending on whether the built-in preamp was used or not.

  Windows 10? Sounds like the "Anniversary Update" got installed. Try uninstalling SSDR and FlexVSP and reinstalling. Tim has directions on doing this, but I don't have the link handy.
