WSJT-x 1.4 any update information?

It has past almost 4 months since it was answered as "rc3 will work", however it remains as rc2 as of today.
Are there any known updates schedule?

The last bulletin by Steve was that 1.4 should be reached by the end of this month. The implication was that the end of this month would be the very latest. But who knows?

    Thank you, Jim.
Then, I will wait for as well as another 1.4 (SSDR)

Not sure of the question but WSJT-X works ok for me. It is RC-2 version and use Omni-rig set to kenwood ts-2000 and it follows vfo just fine Set dax rx1 and dax tx1 ...http://physics.princeton.edu/pulsar/K1JT/wsjtx.html

    Omni-Rig ... http://www.dxatlas.com/OmniRig/

I've been making lots of contacts with v1.4 Alpha on WSJT-X.  It's looking very good.  We had an Alpha last week that had a number of issues which we are busy cleaning up this week.  We're still working for the end of the month for release.  There have been a number of changes in v1.4 on DAX including better buffering, better indications for status and less sensitivity to other things going on with the radio.

Hi, Steve, nice to see that good looking face appearing again! Regarding 1.4 will the audio on multiple slices be mixed? This can be helpful when working split frequencies for DXing. Thanks for the update!!!

Good morning, Steve - Is the WSJT-X alpha talking to the 6000 via IP or CAT?
Thanks for the updates. Eagerly anticipating "Christmas in January."

Takeshi was asking about WSJT-X, not SmartSDR.

Steve apparently has had his face buried in code for the past few months.  It is nice to see him come up for air!  <grin>

Over CAT -- I'm sure it could be modified to bypass CAT, but it's just not been tackled by anyone yet.

We've not contemplated mixing the audio.  I suspect you could get a third party mixer app and do this, though.

How will the separate slice audio channels appear on the client computer? Can they be "attached" to a VAC channel to connect to the third party soffware?

Thanks. Looking forward to the day serial ports join parallel ports in the "remember when" bin.

RC3 is quite some time away. With all the changes they are making I do not know why there is an 'RC' in the file name.
