Sitting on the newly built veranda at my summer house, and running my 6500 remote over 4G. Amazed how nice it works. Have VPN set up and left the radio on when I left this morning.
As cell phone coverage been very poor I am so happy to see 4G offer rock solid connection. I can now concentrate on getting amp and rotator on remote. This will be a great summer! Thank You Flex!

Are you doing the Raspberry Pi VPN setup or something else?

I am using Softeather and a Pi-clone at radio end. Running client on laptop.

Stepped through the videos on how to set up...  Ria's script was too late :)

If I am not mistaken Flex has nothing to do with the current VPN remote setup that allow for a 4G connection with your Maestro.  Your thanks should go to the users whom developed the solutions, shared them freely and provided the support to answer the questions of other users.

In fact this is one case in which Flex said they would ship the Maestro with VPN capabilities but did not.

Best to give credit to the right people.

Actually, there are software features in SmartSDR that make using SmartSDR remote more efficient on WAN links, so we do get a little credit ;-)

Without the radio hardware there would not be a remote... but yes K6OZY and other should have a big Thank You for getting the VPN configured and helpling others to get going.
As for the Maestro, I never got this promise....

If you count operating remote via 4G connections from 28 Countries as remote mobile then yes I have.
