Be sure to read and reread the really good write up on how to set wnb. Next look at Lee's videos he made on how to set it up. Note, he pretty much follows the directions in the user guide. One thing though, he doesn't end up in the mid range as I would have thought, based on the user guide but rather to the far right. I never tried to the far right and I'd otherwise agree with you.

The other thing to consider is you might not have any electrical noise. I was trying it on 40mtrs with no apparent luck. Where you and I got the very same software Lee did, I am confident it works.

Working well in my situation.  I have an electric fence and it shows up as pops across all the bands,  more noticeable on 80 meters. I have been turning off the fence when listening. With WNB engaged, slider in the middle my fence noise is gone. I don't notice any degradation of audio quality. One of my dogs keeps testing the fence, so it is helpful to leave it on while I am focusing on the radio. For my noise situation WNB works like magic.

The NB in 1.4 did not work for me even as the WNB in 1.5  I seem to have the wrong type of noise.  The NR is working now.
