Windows Spring Update question

I am a new 6300 owner running version 2.1.33 under Windows 10 Home 1709. I have been able to put off the Spring Update 1803 by setting up as metered connection. I see that 1803 is ready to download. Does the latest SmartSDR release address any problems with the 1803 Update? Can I just export my profiles and uninstall SmartSDR and the DAX drivers, then install the Windows update and latest SmartSDR v2.2.8?

Thanks,

Windows 1803 has caused a LOT of people loosing bits and peaces of different drivers and programs including SmartSDR, DAX and CAT.
This is not a SmartSDR issue but rather a Windows update trashing the registry of programs and drivers it  doesn't know about.
So if you can hold off on 1803 until Flex has had a chance to chase all the bug's out you may be better off.
I have had 1 machine update OK 3 machines totally crash and go into a endless loop and had to restore from a backup other machines all I had to do is re-install the software which is a big chore with over 50 computers.
So as they say buyer beware of Windows 1803

I un-installed SmartSDR, updated to 1803 and re-stalled 1803 and had zero problems. It is important to be sure to turn your PC microphone on in privacy settings as it is really more than just the mic - basically all audio. Microsoft really messed up on that one.

Since there is nothing in 1803 that I'm waiting for, I'll hold off for a while. I will update SmartSDR to v2.2.8.

Thanks,
