Definitely not bragging, but so far every Win 10 update has not caused any problems. I'm wondering, are those of you who have experienced problems had them because you leave your PC on all the time? Are these "live updates" while the Flex software is running? When I'm off the air, so is my PC, and every update was done as by PC shuts down, after the Flex software was shut down.

I leave my PC on 24/7 and have not had any issues with the updates except for the Creator's Update where I had to reset my wi-fi logins and reload DAX. I am running on an Intel NUC5 device.

I like wise have had no problems with updates. I turn computer of when radio is not is use.
My computer is only used with the Flex.  All updates are done with radio off line.

I shut my Windows PC down when it isn't in use, which is pretty much radio use only.

I wonder if some of the problems a few people have are a result of security settings and/or software.  I personally consider most anti-virus software to be very unfriendly to a LOT of software.

In any event, it seems to me that the folks that do have serious problems with windows updates and SmartSDR (or associated programs) are a fairly low percentage of the total number of users considering the number of complaints I have seen.

It would be extremely useful, obviously, to see what they have in common with their respective set ups.  The devil is always in the details.

No problems here either. Radio off except when in actual use.
