Has anyone gotten a Shuttle Xpress to work with PSDR and if so how did you do that?

KE9NS has a nice setup in his version of PowerSDR which will talk to a PowerMate knob. Maybe you can contact him and ask. Email is "ke9ns@ke9ns.com". Good Luck

Hi Zack, i've been using a Shuttle Xpress for a number of years with my 5000a along with a Hercules DJ deck. The downside to the Shuttle jog-wheel is that it has to have "mouse focus" for it to control the Flex whereas the DJHercules doesn't require mouse focus for it to work.

Anyhow i'll Email you my "preference settings" file for PSDR or KE9NS PSDR so that you can use the jog-wheel with your 1500/5000a.

Instructions:- Right click on the wheel icon in the tray; click on "Open Control Panel"...when the "Contour Shuttle Device Configuration" opens click the "Options" button then click  "Import Settings" ...this will then open the File Explorer box and you will have to locate the "Settings file" (that i will send to you in a moment) that you will have "saved/downloaded" from the Email attachment i sent.

Click the Apply button and et voila :-)  ...i'd advise restarting Windows maybe.

Good luck....you can alter the buttons/wheel positions to other variables/values/mode etc. etc. if you don't like my settings....it took me ages to "build" it up to the current setup and gives what i consider a "nice SLOW/FAST jog compromise" with increasing "Hz/kHz step" size depending upon the position of the "OUTER spring-loaded" jog-wheel.
