Will be class E for field day!

I spent much of the day running new coax, running power lines to my generator and getting set for Field Day.   While I won't be out in the field I will be on my deck and running class E (emergency power) at the home station.

I am looking forward to it.  Going to try and make a real effort at this one.  I usually get a few contacts in and get disturbed.  This time everyone is out of town so I have the place to myself.

I thought I about going camping but ran into animal care issues for that.  So class E it is.

See ya on the air!

Mark, this is how I operate FD now too.  The radio and network are on generator.  I run phone and digital from my laptop on the screen porch.

Outstanding Tim, I'll be looking for you.   I have Katz that would miss me terribly if I went up to the mountains so the deck will have to do!

Nice setup, especially the scope. Radio + astronomy are two good pursuits, even more so when paired together --> Radio Astronomy...

CU on the bands.
