Wide Noise Blanker Demo.

As part of the testing of my 6600 in a true urban environment, I got to test out the Wide Noise Blanker.

This was on 80.  The antenna is a Windom about 30ft off the ground.  Nothing special and just a typical subdivision installation.

Nice demo. I think many people may not be aware that it takes a few seconds to react. That time may also be why it’s often not effective on noisethat is more interriment. If the noise could be analyzed and saved, rather than real time correction, it might be even better for other types of noise, .

Excellent demo and it mirrors what I see here in my location, a subdivision with only room for my Butternut vertical.  Without WNB, the low bands would be unusable.

Almost quit the hobby on the HF Bands until I got Flex and used WNB (from a borrowed Flex6300 ) to take out nasty Noise from neighbor ! Then got the Flex, no turning back !
