What is the transmit filter width on the 6500. Can the width be changed?

    If my memory serves me correctly, 100 -2800 hz. No it cant be changed. Jim K4JAF

    I am confident that this will be part of the upgrades eventually. TX Bandwidth and EQ adjustments are now a basic feature of quality rigs. The current 2.7K should be great for normal use, but 2.9K will be better for rag chewing on quiet bands, and 2.4k properly EQ'd will be great for weak signal/DX/Contesting. For the time being, we may be able to simulate these filter widths somewhat with judicious EQ adjustments. I will begin testing next week!

    It is 100-2800 Hz and it cannot be changed (yet).

    Variable bandwidth up to 10 KHz is in development now. It will be out no later than 1.0 and probably before.
