Bill,

I posted a similar question earlier this week and so far have not seeing Steve at FRS answer.

I hope t the power of being at FRS will integrate the simple mode such as JT65 etc...

Your most welcome and thank you for the qsos.
I'm enjoying JT9 a lot these days....
They are perfect modes for Flex's receiver. Just a few watts, and you can work what I call 'Ghost Contacts'.
You don't see them in the scope.
You can't hear them by ear but the print out like magic.
The Flex is idea for those digital modes.

You may not have read the whole line... it is "Simple Mode FlexControl,"  which refers to upgraded, but still simple, selection of functions on the Flex Control Knob.  This will be a nice addition - the ability to program at least a few different functions on the Control Knob.

my apologies, I didn't realize that it was just one line.
Your explanation makes more sense. LOL
As I have a 5K and 6K, but only one Knob, It would be nice if one of those controls could be the ability to switch radios....on the fly.
Like a mouse can switch 'focus' to any of currently running programs.
