I had been using the Flex CAT to create shared port pairs for DX4WIN and my ROTOR control to DDUtil.  Is there a good replacement program to create virtual port pairs?

VSPManager from the same guy who gives you DDUtil. Write Steve a note and he will send you the link for it.

Hello Tim, I was asking for a recommendation based on personal experience because I'm not as PC software savvy as 90% of the guys on this forum.  Do you personally recommend all these?  And whats Google?

Thank you....

Virtual com port software is like shoes.  You may have to try several styles before you find a pair that fits.  This is why I provide a short list of software packages and recommended you use Google to fine more.

Not all virtual com port software is created equally. Some of the software packages will not interface well (or at all) with certain programs. What works well for me may not for you.  So my recommendation is to try the free ones first out and see if any one fits you needs and works well with the software you want to interconnect via a null modem serial port connection.  Your mileage will vary.
