Weird signals on edges of panadapters?

On the very left and right edges of my panadapter (whether in SmartSDR for iOS or Windows) I see spikes like those shown in the below screenshot. They actually move up and down, but when I scroll left or right there is no signal present. Why is this happening?

I would be interested in looking at the image if you could post it here. I don't click on unknown links.

imgur has been around for 9 years and is the 16th most popular site on the entire Internet. They've served 42 petabytes of images (and just images) in that time. There is and has never been any risk of clicking on an imgur link. But here's the image anyway.

This is an artifact that is generated in the FPGA where it is generating a little extrainious data that is not properly bound to the display width.  It is defect #5491

Excellent! I am glad this issue is known and being tracked, as it made me think something was defective about my new radio. One follow up question:

    (1) On what date was defect #5491 created in your tracking system?

    Thanks!

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
