We are awaiting the arrival of the standard kilogram from the International Bureau of Weights and Measures so we can calibrate our scales.

Tim, bad new. The weight is still in EU on tour. Before eastern no chance. Same is true for the "original meter" - still in Paris.

Darn.  I was hoping that it and the standard liter and meter would all show up together later this week.  They compliment one another.
