Water fall

When i transmit i see Horizontal lines on the water fall, what would be causing that and is it harming anything?

Hi Don.. this is totally normal.  Nothing is being harmed.

Sometimes the Electron Bucket gets too full and overflows. That puts a line of electrons across your waterfall.

Or something like that ...

We blank the waterfall on TX because on transmit, the signal level received by the receiver is much higher than when receiving off of your antenna and it takes a while for the auto black level to normalize, so it screws up the waterfall intensity display for several seconds after transitioning from TX to RX.
