Version 2.0 installed and working. Had a couple of glitches but no show stoppers. It seems that when I made the changes to my AirPort Extreme it reset the DHCP leases and the 6500 got a new IP. easily fixed but annoying. Looking at network stats it seems the latency is a little higher and the dropped packets increased to 0.01%. Still well within limits. I'll give it a real world test on remote use tomorrow with my iPad. And it looks like 40 meters is open tonight. All things said everything went very smoothly. great job to the dev team and no tech support needed. (maybe later) Thanks Tim Ellison for the early release of the docs. very helpful.

You may want to look into Static DHCP (or sometimes called address reservation).  Using this in the router will ensure that your IP Address doesn't move around for any particular device like your radio.
