Left work a little early to install v2.0. Uninstalled every previous version to clean up the PC. The installation into my 6500 (LE) was seamless - absolutely smooth with no mention of a purchase, as I hoped for. Smartlink setup was easy and successful.Through my own negligence I deleted the CAT files, so I now need to reconfigure all the software and logging software. Not a big deal, probably a good refresher. Now I need to read and see what new features are offered.

FYI,
ISSUE #1: I'm using this with Verizon's FIOS service, using an Actiontec Wi424 router. A recent firmware update removed (hid) UPnP setup. I found a link to it in another discussion. As it turns out, it seems to be enabled by default, so not being able to find it may not be an issue.

ISSUE #2: During the upgrade the 6500's fan goes on and really revs up. Never heard this before - scared the hell out of me. Obviously, it must be normal.

BIG thanks to the team who spent countless hours testing this. So far, it looks solid.

yes, normal when there is a PSoC processor upgrade.  These are rare and do cause the fan to spin up. This is noted in the SmartSDR Software Users Guide, methinks.
