This is a new question  copied from another thread since that topic was marked as "answered."

It looks like there may be an error in the Documentation regarding the CAT command KY to send CW text.

There appears to be an issue with the using the KY command as it is documented when used on the 6000 radios.  When using the "set" option of the command to send CW, if you include the P1 parameter it also gets transmitted.  I tested using it set to either 0 or 1, with the same result.   It looks like it should not be included and works fine when not included.    I tested using DDUtil and also the SmartCat Test TAB.  See snapshots below.

Am I doing something wrong or should this be considered a documentation defect?

The CAT doc is correct; looks line a bug in the KY command.  I have written this up as a defect.
