V1.10.16 problem connecting to DX4WIN and FLdigi

I just installed the latest SSDR v1.10.16.  The install went just fine.  DDUtil started and is running just fine but my logger, DX4WIN gives me an error when I try and open it, see screen shots.  Also, FLdigi will not connect and track the frequency of my 6500.  I'm using com15 and it worked just fine with v1.9.13.  As it stands, my logger or FLdigi will not follow the radio.  (I do not have DX4WIN and FLdigi open at the same time as they both use com15 to connect to my 6500.)

I also noticed FabulaTech created several more ports than I previously had, including a virtual port for com8/108 which I didn't have before.  I just noticed I'm showing NO FabulaTech port for com16 even though I previously had com16 setup in SSDR-CAT.

All help appreciated.

What version were you upgrading from?

And did you remove the FLEX-VSP driver from your system before upgrading?

I thought the release notes said I didn't have to do that?  Did I not read that right?  How do I recover?

You should not have uninstalled it, but I need to know if you did or not.  Can I assume you didn't?

Good. It is probable that the previous FlexVSP driver installer was not on your system and it couldn't uninstall properly (we have taken actions to prevent this for future FlexVSP driver updates, but if it was removed before we did that, then your driver is in a "limbo" state)

This can be fixed, but depending on the state of the new driver install, the steps will be different.  I recommend opening a HelpDesk ticket so we can figure out what state the driver is in and either repair it or manually reinstall it.

I just got off the phone with Dudley at Flex.  Mission accomplished, all is right with the world, we're up and running as before.  The issue is resolved.

Thank you Dudley!!
