Using the GPSDO for time sync

I know this was talked about early in the beta testing phase, but I have not heard any comments or plans to implement the use of the GPSDO to sync the local computer to the highly accurate time signals on the 6700 with the GPSDO. With such an accurate clock so close it a shame to have to go to the internet to sync the time up. Anybody know if there are any plans for this?

At least as interesting would be any plans (for those of us in the Western Hemisphere anyway) to decode the time signals from WWV.  That would work with the base radio.

Is there any third party program that does this?  In principle, it could be done by any of the stuff already out there like Fldigi.

Is it doable?  Probably.  And it is in our database as a possible future enhancement. That is as far as any plans have progressed.
