Uninstall question

I am happy to uninstall FRS via the control panel*, but does one have to uninstall the 'FlexRadio Systems FlexVSP' too?
*As the DAX drivers seem to be updated with each release, why does the uninstall ask if we would like to keep the old ones? I cannot foresee a situation where I would answer 'no'.

If you are completely removing the FRS suite, then yes uninstall it.  If you are upgrading to a new version, it is not required to uninstall, just like the DAX windows audio drivers are not required to be uninstalled too.   I'm sure FRS will mention to us if they do a revision of VSP or DAX, but even then the installer will likely take care of that too.

The core DAX windows audio drivers have not been updated for quite some time.   All of the improvements to DAX are from the DAX Control Panel applet and core radio code changes to date.

Thanks for that especially the DAX clarification.

Addendum:- IIRC though, the version number of DAX increases with each release of SSDR inferring that an update *is* needed. Maybe FRS should clarify the situation in the installer?
