I was confused too - I was trying to configure it before I connected to the radio, but that wouldn't work.  I had to go back to the settings page *after* I was connected to the radio in smartsdr for it to save and show up on the display.

Yes, you actually have to connect to the radio before it sends any commands to it.

But mine wouldn't show anything until I realized that the nickname I was using was one character too long.  Then it wouldn't show anything.  I shortened the name to "Big Kahuna" and it works.  [grin]  My Call and name also works, but my name is short...

    Problem solved!

You toggle the Radio Identification to any of the three ..

    Nickname, Callsign  and the Model.

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
