TX Audio Source Should be Mode Dependent

The TX audio source should change automatically with the mode. That is, when you change modes, SmartSDR should automatically select the last audio source used for that mode. For example, when selecting USB or LSB, the MIC input should be automatically selected (or BAL or LIN -- whichever was last used for SSB), and when selecting DIGL or DIGU, ACC should be selected. Of course, when DAX is implemented, this point may be moot. 73, Ray, K9DUR

Absolutely and this should be part of basic persistence.

And different for AM. I run a PR781 or headset into the front mic connection for SSB and an outboard audio processor with condenser mic for AM into the BAL connection on the back. ultimately I want what we had with PSDR..... I had over a dozen profiles with different mic's....
