Tx Inhibit Question

Using Flex 6700 and 1.10.16. This morning I was on the air on 80M AM using the flex to drive a Alpha 9500. At some point during my transmission the carrier dropped and the radio went to rx mode. The TUNE and MOX buttons were greyed out so I could not re initiate TX mode. After some investigation I found that the TX INHIBIT box was enabled in the Radio Setup/TX tab. I cleared it out and all was well. So the question is how did it get "enabled". I do not see anything in the SSDR user manual about conditions that would cause it to get "enabled". At first I thought it might be the "timeout" monitor but after some experimenting I see that a "timeout" does not cause it to be "enabled". Need some help explaining how this happened.

Thanks and 73,
Harry

Thanks Tim...I do use DUtil and the watchdog timer was set to 8 minutes. Guess I was making and old buzzard this morning!! I reset the timer to 1 minute and it does set TX INHIBIT to ENABLED.
