Tx Delay persistence - lack of

I just got a Palstar LA-1K solid state amplifier (fantastic amp, by the way).  The dealer recommends a Tx Delay setting of 30 ms.  No problem except that it doesn't persist.  If I interpret guide correctly a setting of Tx Delay should hold across all bands but if I set it in 20m it is gone when I change bands and when I return to 20 it is gone there.
I am sure I am screwing up somewhere but I can't figure it out.

You'll need to save a TX profile and that will fix it.

Yes, you can simply bring up your profile then set as you want then re save it.

Thanks,
But that doesn't work for me.  I can set and save power settings but under Radio Setup Tx Delay it doesn't save.
Thanks

My amp likes 25ms.

Open the radio setup "TX" tab

Use the drop down menu to select the mode you want to change delay on.

Enter 30 in the tx delay box, hit enter, leave the radio setup window open.

There should be a * before the mode you just changed.

Open the profile manager, save the transmit profile you just changed, the * goes away and the tx delay should hold where you set it.

I wonder what delay I should use for an Amaritron AL 811?

The AL-80B I was using worked fine with 25 ms.

The AL-811 probably uses the same loud relay.

Bill,  Try the lowest setting (probably 25ms) you can without people answering you as UA3WTB. :)
