Tune Power

What happened to the tune power setting? There use to be a slider on the transmit tab of the radio setup. It seems to have disappeared with 1.5 and replaced by the max power slider. They don't do the same thing. I've tried setting the tune power in my global profiles but it doesn't seem to save. Seems like manually setting it whenever you change bands is the only choice.

Color me baffled.  Their have been no changes to my power settings.
Max power is set under radio setup transmit tab.
The power slider sets the output power and may be saved under profiles. Directly under the RF Power slider is the tune power slider.
This is the way it has been for some time.
It sounds like yours has become completely buggered.

Well, the tune power slider is gone. My tune power setting seem to be where they were last left and if I change them they go back to that place. Everything does work, just won't stay where I leave it.

Any chance you could post some screen shots?  Mine (for now at least) is there, operates , and is persistent.  Anything else changed (or was changed) on your system?

I'm not at my radio but if you go to settings/radio setup and then the transmit tab you still see a slider for tune power on that tab? All I see is max power which appears to have replaced the tune power.

This is from an older version of the SSDR User guide. This is on the transmit tab of radio setup. The Tune Power block is gone from 1.5 as well as the new version of the user guide.

Tune Power can still be selected from the Transmit Panel on the main SSDR screen but at least in my case if I set it to say 10 watts and then change bands and come back it is no longer on 10 watts. I use to leave mine set to 1 watt and would use the tune button to verify that my Steppir was tuned correctly.

@Jon KF2E - It moved (not recently):

See page 147 of the current SmartSDR Software Guide for more information.

I had an issue with ddutil and the power level option that protects amplifier overdrive that caused erratic persistence problems, you have to be sure you don't check the wrong options in ddutil. Of course if you are not using ddutil this would not apply.
