I believe there is a bug in the V 2.1.30 software.  With Tune Guides enabled and Single Click to Tune enabled.  You are not able to QSY to a frequency within the passband of the receiver.  You can QSY if you double click.

This bug may be a good thing, when you are using the digital modes and have the passband across the entire screen accidentally hitting the mouse button is not a good thing especially if you at in a QSO (speaking from experience).

The only thing is I wish the pop up would go away after selecting an option. If you click to remove it you QSY off of were you want to be unless you click somewhere off the panadapter.

This looks to be an oversight.  I have added it to our bug tracker as issue #5919. Thanks for the report.

Still not fixed in 2.2.8 or I am doing something wrong? Single click works on some bands and not on others.

Bug #5919 and #5920 are fixed in SmartSDR v2.2.8.

Both were addressed and fixed in one of the Alpha tester releases done before the
General Release of SmartSDR v2.1.32 on (2018-02-06).

v2.1.31 Alpha (2018-02-02)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
#5921 Fixed relay click and level change after direct frequency tune (WIDE status recalculation)
#5906 6400/6600: Fixed low power between 1.884170 MHz and 1.892350 MHz
#5894 Fixed power per band retrieval
#5919 SSDR: Single click tune now works inside of the Slice filter
#5920 SSDR: Right-click context menu no longer stays open after enabling/disabling Tune Guides
#5960 CAT: KY command no longer sends trailing white spaces per Kenwood spec
#5916 API: SmartLink TcpClient object is now cleaned up properly when closing the connection
#5528 API: A more readable exception is thrown when API.ProgramName is not set before KeepAlive is started
#5326 SSDR installer Release Notes and ChangeLog now open web links in browser

Single click tuning works for me in SmartSDR v2.2.8, but I did experience both bugs in SmartSDR v2.1.30 5 months ago, but both were fixed in the SmartSDR v2.1.32 release and ever since.

It could be an operator error, or it could be a new bug your experiencing, submit a helpdesk ticket if that's the case.

Are you certain the VFO slice lock was off when you were trying to click to tune?
